At the heart of Impact Hub Ottawa is a small but mighty team of dedicated and passionate people. Together we host a collaborative coworking community and curate events and programming to inspire, connect and enable our members to do good better.

We’re looking for an energetic organizer to help us do what we do and ensure seamless operations.

The role: Operations Lead

The Operations Lead manages the administrative workings and logistics of membership, programs, and our space. They constantly dedicate their attention to the flow of people, events, and supplies, through both our physical and virtual settings.

The smooth operation of our space and offerings is integral to creating an inspiring and productive space for our members. The Operations Lead – through hospitality, facilities management, membership administration, and finance – is indispensable to everyday operations and to creating this welcoming environment. Responsibilities of the Operations Lead include:

Hospitality: Create a warm and welcoming space for members and guests, catalyzing connections, troubleshooting questions, and answering all front-end lines of communication.

Facilities Management: Ensure the space is always ready, well stocked, optimized, and organized by managing all supplies and purchases, as well as, liaising with the property manager.

Program and Event Support: Support smooth running of our programs and events by managing logistics, suppliers, and day of coordination.

Member Administration: Manage member administration from intake and constantly develop and improve systems and procedures for scale and experience.

Finances: Support bookkeeping and oversee accounts receivable to ensure timely receipt of outstanding payments.
