Brown Bag Lunch: Fall (Back?) in Love with Writing
Featuring Eve Blouin
Thursday Sept 19th @ 12-1 pm
Writing is an important skill to develop in most jobs and careers. However, many of us are uncomfortable or just plain stuck when in comes to putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard). This talk will familiarize you with the process of writing, which includes the exploration and incubation of ideas, composition, revision, and reformulation. You will also learn how to reduce common hurdles to writing and be on your way to writing bliss!
Eve Blouin is a psychologist and expert on creativity and imagination. She has conducted research on these topics for the past 6 years, and teaches an undergraduate course at Carleton University on creativity, play, and innovation in the workplace.
Brown Bag Lunches are free for members but open to everyone. Remember to bring your lunch! 🙂
