Brown Bag Lunch: Misinformation And What To Do About It

Misinformation And What To Do About It Featuring Evidence for Democracy Thursday August 15 @ 12-1pm   What is misinformation? How is it formed and spread? Why are we susceptible to misinformation? What can we do about it? We will address these hard questions during this BBL and we’ll finish off with some tangible things we can all do to protect ourselves from misinformation and prevent it from spreading. We will also share our Truth Pledge campaign, a pledge to help us all commit to doing our part to combat misinformation. Evidence for Democracy is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization promoting the transparent use of evidence in government decision-making. Katie Gibbs is co-founder and Executive Director and Kimberly Girling is Research and Policy Director.
Brown Bag Lunches are free for members but open to everyone. Remember to bring your lunch! 🙂
