Too Dumb for Democracy?
Featuring David Moscrop
Thursday May 16th @ 12-1pm
Why do we make bad political decisions? How can we make better ones? What counts as a good or bad political decision in the first place? In this talk, I’ll walk through an overview of my book — a look into why we make the political decisions we do, how we fall short of the democratic ideal of the good political decision maker, and how we can do better.
David Moscrop is a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Communication at the University of Ottawa, a political commentator, a columnist for the Washington Post, and the author of ‘Too Dumb for Democracy?’
