How to be a responsible traveler

Featuring Sue Badyari, CEO of World Expeditions
Thursday September 14th, 12-1pm

Travel is a great way to discover something new, connect with nature, and unwind. It also has the potential to protect environments, preserve cultures, and create economic opportunity.

How do we balance a desire to explore the world with the importance of making sustainable choices? Can we have a positive influence on the destinations we journey through?

Join World Expeditions’ CEO, Sue Badyari, to discuss how minimizing your impact and maximizing your experience is easier than you think.

Sue travels extensively and believes that the most authentic travel experiences occur when travellers get off the beaten track. Her main priority is to develop tourism that goes hand in hand with the local community and protects the natural environment. Sustainability is deeply embedded in the way she leads World Expeditions, which continues to set the benchmark for responsible travel worldwide.

Brown Bag Lunches are free for members but open to everyone. Reserve your spot through Eventbrite (be sure to select the right date when purchasing your tickets) and remember to bring your lunch! 🙂
