Come out to our houseplant Tweakshop with Susan from Ecology Ottawa to discuss what your plants may need after a long, dark winter and how to propagate one of the easiest houseplants to care for, the Spider Plant. Currently, 20 little spider plant babies are starting the rooting process and if all goes to plan, there will be 20 opportunities to plant and take home your own little piece of Impact Hub greenery!
Susan Hickman is the Administrative Coordinator for Ecology Ottawa and has been working in the Impact Hub since July of 2022. She has worked with environmental non-profits for the last twenty years and you can often catch her at the many environmental justice rallies hosted in our capital city. One of the aspects she admires about the Hub is the plethora of healthy greenery since her love of cats and desire to live in the urban core have taken over her ability to have her own thriving houseplants or garden.

Join around the Harvest table from 12-12:30 pm on Wednesday, May 10 to participate. Want a reason to get your hands dirty in the middle of a workday?
