What is blockchain and what is its use?

This will be an interactive presentation that will go over blockchain basis and provide the audience with real life uses of the technology.

Justyna Osowska is on a journey to promote women in blockchain. She is a Program Analyst at Environment Canada with a passion for data, entrepreneurship and blockchain technology. Justyna, originally entered the blockchain space because she has worked in IT and data for over eight years.  As of September, she has been hosting monthly meetups in Ottawa to educate people about the uses of blockchain technology. She is currently working to partner with stakeholders in the industry to raise awareness of how the blockchain can be used to solve real world problems.
