As we approach our two-year anniversary in our home at 123 Slater Street, Impact Hub Ottawa is ready to grow again, this time to the 7th floor! We moved to 123 Slater Street in May 2017 because we believed that the new space would give us more opportunities to grow our community and drive innovation through collaboration. Thanks to the extra square feet we were able to bring together a group of Co Stewards, a collective of like-minded organizations including Community Foundations of Canada, MATCH International Women’s Fund, The Circle on Philanthropy and Aboriginal Peoples of Canada, One.org, the Moose Hide Campaign, National Observer, Evidence for Democracy, and Child Care Now. These organizations now work side by side every day, along with the rest of our members. In March 2019 we will be growing again. Together with Community Foundations of Canada and MATCH International Women’s Fund, we will be taking on another 6200 sq/ft on 123 Slater’s 7th floor. The expanded facilities will provide the community new membership opportunities including dedicated desks and additional meeting and workshop space for the community. The new dedicated desk offering is open to mission driven organizations who are seeking to work in a collaborative environment. Curious?
