To our community,

The past few days’ events have brought swift and surprising changes to our personal and professional lives, leaving so many of the next steps uncertain for both Impact Hub Ottawa and our community.

It was with heavy hearts that, on Tuesday, March 17th, we decided to close our offices for the time being.

As an organization that believes wholeheartedly in the power of gathering, this was a difficult decision to make. It was nevertheless the decision that put the health and safety of our community first, and we are grateful for the the support of our global Impact Hub network, whose actions have been leading the way in supporting communities like ours around the world.

In the meantime, know that while we may be disconnected physically, we are not alone. That these circumstances affect all of us – businesses and organizations big and small, freelancers, families and individuals – but until we open our doors again, Impact Hub Ottawa is here to support your work. Here’s how:

  • We’re taking our Weekly Brown Bag Lunches Online, and opening them up to the public! We’ll kick off with a Virtual Hub Hangout on Thursday, March 19th at noon.
  • Our Experts in Residence remain available for our members virtually. Check their hours and availability here.
  • The Community App will continue to serve as our members’ very own corner of the internet to share stories, news, asks and offers with other Hubbers 
  • As always, the entire team is available to connect our community to the resources or people they need to remain productive and well
