The Circle

4Rs Youth Movement

The 4Rs Youth Movement is a youth-driven initiative that was launched to change the country by changing relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous young people. Through the networks and support of 14 founding national organizations, 4Rs is about engaging young people in critical cross-cultural dialogue that furthers reconciliation.

Imagine Canada exists to work alongside other charitable sector organizations — and often in partnership with the private sector, governments and individuals in the community — to ensure that charities continue to play a pivotal role in building, enriching and defining our nation.

WIEGO is a global network focused on securing livelihoods for the working poor, especially women, in the informal economy.

Youth Coalition

Youth Coalition is an international organization of young people (ages 18-29 years) committed to promoting adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive rights at the national, regional and international levels. We are students, researchers, lawyers, health care professionals, educators, development workers, and most importantly, we are all dedicated activists.

Alterna Savings

Founded in 1908, Alterna Savings has over 160,000 members, 35 branches in Ontario, and more than $9 billion in assets under management.

Alterna is proud of its long history of helping communities thrive. It shared its success in 2018 by donating more than $1 million to the community and, in partnership with employees, contributed 11,300 volunteer hours.

Its flagship Community Micro-Finance Program also helps underrepresented groups. Since its inception, the program has disbursed more than $5 million in impact loans and helped change the lives of more than 1,000 participants and their families.

Ecology Ottawa

Ecology Ottawa is the heartbeat of the environmental movement in our nation’s capital. With a network of over tens of thousands of people, Ecology Ottawa is a not-for-profit, grassroots and volunteer-driven organization that organizes in communities, engages citizens, and collaborates with partners They focus on creating a green, resilient, and inclusive city.

Their programs range from tree giveaways to pollinator gardens to advocating for electric school buses to citizen science tracking air quality in low-income neighbourhoods to pushing for local decision-makers to make environmentally progressive policies. Every dollar makes a big impact and goes far for their small but mighty grassroots organization.

CSED

CSED (Centre for Social Enterprise Development) is a co-curator of Impact Academy. CISED offers market research, technical assistance, coaching, and other services to non-profits exploring social enterprise and social entrepreneurs.

CKX

CKX is a platform for collective social change.

CKX seeks to spark FUNDAMENTAL SHIFTS in how individuals, institutions and communities build and share knowledge in the pursuit of social change.

CKX is both a catalyst and a curator of those FUNDAMENTAL SHIFTS.

Creative Mornings Ottawa

Creative Mornings Ottawa is the city’s foremost breakfast speaker series driving the creative economy. The HUB hosts four Creative Mornings each year and we’re proud to say that Creative Mornings Ottawa was kick-started by two Hubbers. In addition, our beautiful ceiling art installation was inspired from the inaugural event!

Assembly of Seven Generations (A7G)

Assembly of Seven Generations (A7G) is an Indigenous owned and youth-led, non-profit organization focused on cultural support and empowerment programs/policies for Indigenous youth while being led by traditional knowledge and Elder guidance.

Digital Public Square

Digital Public Square is a not-for-profit organization that aims to rethink and redesign the way technology is used to support communities worldwide. DPS finds ways for communities to engage in healthy debate, share knowledge, and co-create solutions to their most pressing challenges. Over the past decade, DPS has created space for tens of millions of people around the world to interact with our platforms. Their products have been deployed in a wide range of contexts, from countering misinformation in North America to increasing knowledge of labour rights in Asia and strengthening public sector accountability in the Middle East.
