About this event:
Thinking about starting or strengthening a social enterprise? This roundtable is designed as a guided conversation rather than a traditional presentation, creating space for honest questions, shared learning, and real-world insight. Together, we’ll explore some of the most common (and complex) topics social entrepreneurs face, including when and why to incorporate, how to set prices without compromising your social mission, how to balance price, quality, social, and environmental value in your offering, and more!
Jonathan has been a social enterprise consultant and coach for almost 20 years, working with social entrepreneurs from the non-profit, co-operative and private sectors from Victoria BC to St. John’s Newfoundland. His experience spans many social purposes, from employment of marginalized people, to housing, to the environment, to international development, to the circular economy, to culture and the arts and addressing social injustice and poverty.
Bring your curiosity about social enterprise, from start-up to expansion. Whether you have specific questions or you simply want to listen, learn, and engage in the discussion, join Jonathan Wade on Wednesday, January 28th.
All are welcome, members and non-members. Stop by the Harvest Table on Impact Hub Ottawa’s 6th floor for a fun and engaging conversation!
