Ending chronic homelessness in Ottawa is within our reach. The morality is clear and the economic case couldn’t be more compelling. Join Ottawa City Councillor Ariel Troster to learn about how we can scale up innovative approaches to affordable housing, while revitalizing our downtown core in the process.
Ariel Troster is the City Councillor for Ottawa’s Somerset Ward. Prior to her election success in 2022, she worked with communities across Canada at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. Ariel has helped sponsor and support refugees and asylum seekers with as a volunteer with Rainbow Haven and helped hundreds of people book vaccine appointments throughout the pandemic. Ariel is a frequent media commentator and has been involved in 2SLGTBQIA+ activism for more than 20 years.

Brown Bag Lunches are lunch&learn events hosted by Impact Hub Ottawa for members and non-members alike. Topics and presenters vary, but you’re always sure to learn something new!
