Immigration is vital for Canada’s economic growth, yet newcomers face a multitude of challenges that hinder their ability to contribute — chief among them: learning the necessary skills to grow their career or business in this digital-first world.

 

The Newcomer Toolkit for Business and Work was built in collaboration with impact-driven stakeholders, newcomers, and grassroots leaders in entrepreneurship, community impact and government.


The program

Participants get access to:

  • Four interactive workshops to build digital skills for employment & entrepreneurship
  • The Virtual Support Showcase to connect & network with with employment & entrepreneurial service providers
  • Group Wellness Circles to explore tools for stress management, motivation & self-care
  • One-on-one coaching with workshop facilitators & Impact Hub Ottawa coaches
  • Continued support through a three-month free Virtual Membership to Impact Hub Ottawa
