Ajmal Sataar, President and Founder of Inspire Nunavut has been around Impact Hub Ottawa since opening our doors. Originally as an intern in 2012, then part of the winning team of our first Launch Some Good with CigBins in 2014, and now a member with his latest initiative, Inspire Nunavut.

Inspire Nunavut is an experiential entrepreneurship & social entrepreneurship training program designed specifically for at-risk youth living in Nunavut. Launching in 2016 in Pond Inlet and Iqaluit, their program merges the driving principles of traditional business with the mechanics of social entrepreneurship, while also integrating Inuit culture and values.

With 15 businesses launched in their first year, in 2017 Inspire Nunavut has now expanded to Arviat, Igloolik, and Baker Lake, helping more youth aged 15-30 create new solutions in their communities via entrepreneurship.
